Volunteer Opportunities
Each year, we actively encourage and support the participation of families and community members in volunteer roles that directly match our program’s specific needs and goals.
Nature Explore Classroom Volunteers
Regular maintenance of our Nature Explore Classrooms is vital to the success of our programs. The children spend many hours outside exploring and using these beautiful spaces.
We need the help of individuals and groups who have the opportunity and time to refresh and repair our spaces. Volunteering in our NEC is perfect for those who have volunteer hours through their employer—we would love to be a part of that mission.
Potential volunteer opportunities include:
- Help by replenishing mulch and sand throughout the outdoor classroom area.
- Work on garden/yard maintenance during the year.
- Build or install planter boxes, birdfeeders, children’s picnic tables, decking, and more.
- Help with various outdoor classroom repairs such as fencing.
- Help with landscaping tasks such as pulling weeds, planting greenery/plant furnishings, or laying turf or limestone flooring.

Eat & Explore in the Park
Our annual fundraising event is a family—and community-focused event that raises money for Dimensions Education programs and brings families together through engaging activities, food trucks, music, and more.
Give to Lincoln Day
Dimensions Education Programs is proud to participate in Give to Lincoln Day (May 1st-30th), which is coordinated by the Lincoln Community Foundation.
